We offer a number of pool activities for the whole family! From holiday pool parties, live music on designated Saturdays for adults only, and family fun time spent at the pool, you are sure to find something to do in and around the water this summer. Our pool area is also available for birthdays, graduation and anniversary parties and special events where a private area of deck space can be reserved for your group.
Beginning Memorial Day weekend the pool hours, with lifeguards, are Noon – 8pm Monday-Thursday and 11am-8pm Friday-Sunday. Beginning June 27 pool hours are 11am-8pm daily. After Labor day September 1 pool hours are 11am-7pm until pool closes on September 7. Guest fees are $10 per day, per person. Day lockers are available at no charge.
Nine levels of swim instruction are offered at MCC ranging from 12 month old Mom ‘n Tot swims, to adult stroke clinics for the non-swimmer. All swim lessons cover water safety, rotary breathing and stroke mechanics of the four major strokes plus elementary backstroke and sidestroke. Racing dives and flip turns are covered in the advanced classes.

Participation on the Swim Team is for beginner to advanced swimmers ages 5-18. The season runs from May 12 thru June 29. Cost is $150 per swimmer and includes 1-hour practice sessions four days a week and participation in a minimum of five Thursday night meets against other area teams. We are a member of and compete under the rules and guidelines of the Atlanta Swim Association.
Practices are held Monday through Thursday in the evenings while school is still in session. Morning practices are held Monday through Thursday once summer vacation starts. Our 2 head coaches and a team of 7 junior coaches work with swimmers focusing on stroke mechanics of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.
