Nick Egner’s Bio

Nick was born in Wisconsin but lived on the north side of Chicago until his family moved to Woodstock Georgia in 1990. He met his sweetheart, Katie, in high school and they have been married for 10 years. They reside in Acworth Georgia with their two sons, Carson (age 7) and Kingston (age 2). Nick has been an avid soccer player for 30 years and his favorite soccer team is Manchester United. He is still trying to hold on to the glory days of youth by playing in an adult soccer league once a week. In his spare-time, Nick likes to play golf and soccer and spend quality time with his wife and kids.

Nick love of golf first started at 20 years of age. Within 3 years, he had passed the PAT and was an Assistant Professional. Prior to coming to Milton Country Club, he gained over 10 years’ experience doing all jobs within the golf industry including spending 2 years (2013-2015) as the Outside Services manager at Crooked Creek Club.

His teaching philosophy is that everyone has one swing that their body can produce. He helps people learn how to work with that swing and gives them the guidance and fundamentals to achieve what the individual wants out of their golf game. “Anyone can hit the ball, but I will help to teach you how to get the ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible.” The difference between any “scratch” golfer and touring professional is short game, short game, short game, and putting, putting, putting.
